For guaranteed family fun on holiday, just add water.
For many kids, the trip to a water park is the highlight of their whole holiday. If you plan on taking a trip to Europe, then there are plenty of options for wet and wonderful fun! So check out our list of top 4 water parks in Europe for a splashing good time!
Tsilivi Waterpark, Zante
Located on the beautiful Greek Island of Zante, this bright and colourful park is excellent value for money and it has a nice selection of rides. There is plenty to keep the kids amused, while the adults can chill by the poolside.
Tsilivi opened in 2010, so it has fresh and modern facilities and, naturally, everything is spotlessly clean. It’s perfect for families with young children going on their first holiday outing.
Sun Palace, Faliraki
This brand new water park is set in the beautiful sun palace resort. The kids will have an absolute blast here, with tube slides, body slides, speed slides… basically every kind of water slide you can think of!
If that sounds a tad too energetic for you, never fear. You can always chill out by the pool or drift down the lazy river.
Access to the Sun Palace water park is completely free if you stay at the Hotel Sun Palace. Nothing beats having a first-class waterpark right on your doorstep.
Siam Park, Tenerife
Renowned as one of the best water parks in the world, Siam Park is set amid beautiful lush surroundings and amazing Thai-inspired architecture. The pools and waterways meander around dragons, lion statues and buildings reminiscent of the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
Of course, people rarely go to Siam Park to gawp at the scenery. The rides are some of the best in the world and include white-knuckle flumes, water slides and wave pools. Real thrill-seekers should head to ‘The Dragon’ (pictured above) and ‘El Gigante’ for a fantastic adrenaline rush!
You can enjoy unlimited access to this fantastic waterpark if you stay at the Parque Cristobal with Falcon.
Covering over 75,000 square metres, this huge waterpark is widely regarded as one of the best waterparks in Europe. The lush green forests are punctuated with a huge variety of water rides and pools, so whether you’d like to throw yourself down the Hurricane Twist Slide or just chill out in the Jacuzzi, you’re bound to have a fantastic day here.
Of course, you can stay at the nearby Aqualand Village resort with Falcon, where unlimited entry to the park is included in the price, so you can visit as many times as you like.
